Float: Part-Time; 25 hours a week for 52 weeks (eligible for more hours, as available). Schedule: Monday through Friday from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm.
Position Purpose: This position floats to classrooms to cover breaks and absences. The Float works cooperatively with staff, families, and volunteers to carry out the responsibilities and duties of the Head Start program to meet the cognitive, social-emotional, and physical needs of Head Start children and families.
Pay Range: The hourly wage range is $16.38 to $17.74.
The minimum requirement for the position is a high school diploma or GED certificate, with prior experience with children. Holding a current Child Development Associates (CDA) is preferred. Bilingual preferred; fluent in Spanish a plus. A criminal Background Check is required for hire.
