The Human Resource Specialist’s responsibilities include recruitment, staff qualifications, selection, training and development, compensation, benefits, performance management, employee relations, and strategic human resources planning. The HR Specialist assists directors, managers, and specialists with program governance and compliance with federal and state child care regulations and employment laws.

The ideal candidate brings a blend of strategic management expertise, data analysis skills, and technical proficiency. We are looking for a multitasker who can navigate a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent communication and strong interpersonal relationships at all levels. Experience in Head Start or Child Care administration is preferred.

The position is a full-time, full-year, salaried position with an annual rate of ~ $60,230 to $63,822 based on an hourly range of $28.96 to $30.68, depending on education and experience. 

Minimum Requirements: An Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or a related field, 2 years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. PHR certification is preferred.
