Paraprofessional: Full-time, Full-year, working 35-40 hours a week
Position Purpose: The Paraprofessional/Float duties are supervising, supporting, and monitoring student behavior during daily activities, especially transitions (meals, playground, hallways and walks, and nap time). The position fluctuates between direct, one-on-one assistance and background support. Additionally, this position floats to classrooms to cover breaks and absences as needed.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in a classroom setting and be open and willing to accommodate unique needs in an inclusive environment.
Pay Range: The pay range for this position is $16.55 - $18.09 depending on education and experience.
Minimum requirements:
High school diploma/GED
Prior experience with children required, 6+ months paraprofessional experience preferred.
Criminal Background Check required for hire.
Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus
The position is open until February 10, 2025 or after until filled.
