About the Position

Full-Time | Part-Year | 40 Hours per Week | August–May, 44 Weeks

The Program Coordinator supports overall center operations and serves as the Assistant Center Director. This position is a central point of contact for center documentation and helps ensure required paperwork, records, and processes are completed accurately and on time.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting enrollment and family services activities
  • Maintaining required center records and documentation
  • Tracking health and other compliance-related information
  • Helping families connect with community resources
  • Providing clerical and general office support
  • Coordinating with classroom staff, the Center Director, and Central Office departments
  • Helping ensure center documentation meets Head Start and licensing requirements
  • Serving as backup Center Director when the Center Director is unavailable

Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, approachable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a busy environment. You’ll do well in this role if you enjoy working with both people and paperwork, communicate clearly, take initiative, and can shift between independent projects and team collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in a related field with relevant experience and specialized training in education; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Must hold or be willing to obtain a Colorado Large Child Care Center Director qualification
  • Must be willing to obtain a Family Services Credential

Compensation

$20.93–$28.07 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience
